The Westchase District Farmers Market team will be on hand cooking soup, featuring ingredients found at the weekly farmers market. So come sample the competing soups, then vote for ours (of course!) It’s time for the Houston Monster Jam. More than a dozen trucks, each standing 12 feet tall, weighing 10,000 pounds and equipped with 1,500 horsepower, fly 30 feet in the air as they crash their way through a custom-designed obstacle track — and each other.

Saint Arnold's Brewery be having their second annual BBQ event on Sunday. They will have the folks from CorkScrew BBQ along with Wayne and company of Louie Mueller Barbecue at the brewery serving their finest BBQ to fill your belly before you go to your game-watching party. Of course there will also be delicious Saint Arnold beer, which you'll be able to enjoy from the commemorative Super Beef Sunday pint glass you'll receive.
Please note, while the event runs from 11:00 - 2:00, and we will have plenty of BBQ for that time, please make sure to arrive by 12:30, so that you can try all of the different items the pitmasters will have to offer.
Tickets are $50 per person and include tastings from both pitmasters, beer and a commemorative pint glass. Briskets and beef ribs to take home must be ordered at the time of your ticket purchase. They will not be available to purchase at the event.

Houston’s first modern Korean restaurant concept ever to open inside the Loop will be closing its doors for good at the end of this week. But you can still enjoy the stunningly tasty food and drink, including the oxtail rice cakes (shown above), now through the end of the month, Saturday, January 31.
