Weekly Newsletter from Trout Payment Systems    Join Trout at Houston International Festival  May 3-4, 2014, Downtown Houston Trout will be volunteering at this festival on Saturday, and if you are looking to volunteer as well, you have until April 30th to register.  Otherwise, I encourage you to attend and you can purchase tickets online.   Last Week: Houston Premium Outlets The multi chamber event was a great success as members of Cy Fair/Houston NW/Tomball Chambers came together for networking at the local outlet mall. When the Grand Parkway finally spans from 290 to the 59, the mall will benefit greatly from accessibility to more customers. I look forward to seeing how the multi chamber events after 2015 look. Next Week: Houston Art Car Parade, Saturday May 10th Where else will you see a car shaped like a giant metallic chicken? This is one of my favorite festivities in Houston. I will be volunteering in the Saturday parade, but there are other festivities that precede the parade, including a preview of cars at Discovery Green on Thursday night.    Wanted: Bar and Nightclub Referrals  Trout is looking for referrals to owners and general managers of bars and night clubs. We have Houston based POS systems and credit card/debit card processors who can provide excellent service to local businesses. This Week: Saturday at Vintage Park Although Trout will be at Int'l Fest on Saturday, I know that many will not. However, for those in the NW side I encourage you to attend  the open house for Young Leaders (9-11 am) which provides day care, pre school, and enrichment programs for kids, and the ribbon cutting for B. de Vine (12-1), both of which are in Vintage Park. While you are at it, stop in and visit with my client Anytime Fitness which is a great gym that is open 24/7.  Sunday Funday: Star Wars Art Festival, May 4th 1901 Washington Ave. Houston, TX 77007 My artist/photographer friend through the Cy Fair Chamber, Sergio Santos, brought this magnificent event to my attention.  "A long, long time ago back in 2011, in a warehouse called War'Hous, we started an epidemic. A Star Wars themed art show that has grown exponentially since that first humble homage to Lucas' opus. Now we are back for the 3rd time this year to feed the Star Wars addiction that will surely quench everyone's thirst!"
