Trout Helps Welcome First Choice ER & Dr. Echo's Reconstructive Surgery to Local Chambers

According to County commissioner Jack Cagle, roughly 1,000 people move to Texas every day and of those people, nearly 200 of them move to northwest Houston. The Cy Fair area, which is in northwest Houston, has roughly 650,000 residents alone, meaning that with 73,000 incoming residents per year that would be nearly a 10% increase in population. With rapid population growth, comes growing needs for medical services and facilities.

As a member of several chambers, I see the growth in the medical services industry personally through the increased presence of hospital systems, emergency rooms, urgent care centers, general practicioners, specialists, and pharmacists. On July 31st, 2014 it was my pleasure to the First Choice Emergency Room to the Houston Northwest Chamber as well as Dr. Anthony Echo's reconstructive surgery practice to the Cy Fair Chamber. First Choice boasts 16 facilities in the Houston area, and as I toured their facility during the ribbon cutting, I was shown that they have a fully functional ICU with the same if not better high tech imaging equipment found at full fledged hospitals. They also have a cloud based system which helps enable real time analysis of images by radiologists at a different location.

I also had the great pleasure of welcoming Dr. Anthony Echo, of the Methodist Hospital system to the Cy Fair Chamber. He is a world class plastic surgeon that also does also operates on nerves within the face, neck, and head to help people with migraines and nerve damage.

As a native Houstonian, and someone who grew up on the northwest side, it gives me great pride to see such highly skilled and prestigious organizations move into the area and become part of the local community.
