Make sure to stay until the end for the 1812 Overture—complete with booming cannons! This celebration concludes with a magnificent display of fireworks provided by Miller Theatre Advisory Board. Red, Hot, & Blue Fest Woodlands Join The Woodlands Convention & Visitors Bureau at the 17th Annual Red, Hot & Blue Festival and Fireworks Extravaganza!The Festival is FREE and open to the public. The Festival, presented in part by Clear Choice Orthodontic Associates, will feature live music, face painting, strolling performers, games, hot dog and watermelon eating contests, vendor booths, concessions, fireworks and much more! 4th of July Celebrations around Houston If you're not heading out of town for a long weekend and are looking for some fun and fireworks, check out some of the events listed below! 4th of July CityCentre Celebration The July 4 weekend welcomes four nights of free concerts plus an Independence Day fireworks spectacular to CityCentre. Festivities begin on July 3 with classic rock band Legendary Rhythm Bandits from 7 until 10 PM and continue on July 4 with 90s country tunes from Mustache The Band starting at 7 PM and a fireworks spectacular at 9:30 PM. On July 5, The M-80's bring New Wave sounds to the district from 7 until 10 PM, and the weekend concludes on July 6 with The Coconuts' Jimmy Buffet influenced rock from 5 until 8 PM. Southwest Freedom Over Texas, Eleanor Tinsley Park Mayor Annise D. Parker’s official Fourth of July celebration has become Houston’s signature annual event attracting nationally recognized recording artists and, regional and local talent. Jennifer Nettles, country music star and lead vocalist for international super duo Sugarland, will be the featured artist at this year’s celebration. The 2014 Southwest Airlines Freedom Over Texas celebration will set the stage for an extraordinary patriotic celebration filled with family fun.
